Training your Diabetic Alert Dog
Rita has over 30 years professional training experience, over 20 years of scent dog experience and is the co-founder of 3 non-profit dog organizations. She is a Professional member of APDT, IAADP, CPDT, Past board member of South Bay Trainers and actively helps with several breed rescue groups. The goal of this 2-hour seminar is to provide information to medical professionals and the general public who are familiar with the challenges that accompany diabetes, but may not be familiar with the service that diabetic alert dogs provide, public access work, and additional tasks for DAD’s
